New software helps workers manage projects, processes

A new process visualization suite for managing projects and processes has been unveiled by Viasoft.

Based on SHL's Transform process management tool, Visual Process combines a knowledgebase of best practices, methodologies, work definitions and project templates with computer-based training and publishing tools. It's designed to help software and application development workers plan and manage their projects and processes.

Roccade Finance uses Visual Process to share its knowledge with customers and sister companies within the Roccade group, according to Knowledge Manager Mark de Boer. "We gather, use and re-use knowledge all the time in a lively interactive process," he said
