IntegrationWare names IBM exec as VP

IntegrationWare has named former IBM Services Group leader Don Plekenpol as its new VP of business development. Plekenpol will be charged with leading IntegrationWare's charge into the KM marketplace. Plekenpol held various positions in IBM's sales, marketing, development, finance and solutions delivery units. He was instrumental in launching the IBM Services Group, and developed IBM's knowledge management processes for the company's sales organization, delivering required knowledge to IBM customers and employees. He has also held key business development positions at Ameritech and Unisys.
