Fulcrum, Teltech team for content management

Fulcrum and Teltech, a provider of research and content management services, are combining efforts to help knowledge workers analyze and categorize information more efficiently. Teltech will use Fulcrum's Knowledge Network as the platform for its taxonomies to help knowledge workers in R&D and business development organizations retrieve and organize tacit and explicit knowledge from various repositories. The resulting system will automate and facilitate the management of information from various structured and unstructured sources: documents, E-mail, news feeds, Web pages, and other applications. "This will allow us to provide organizations with intelligent analysis and categorization that will dramatically increase the productivity of their knowledge workers," according to Fulcrum VP and GM Dan Scharf. Partnering with Fulcrum "helps us build high-value, total custom solutions efficiently and cost-effectively," added Dave Magnani, knowledge management practice leader at Teltech.
