BancTec embraces e-commerce

BancTec has launched a new Web site that gives the power of e-commerce to its customers. Through Supplytec.com

, BancTec customers can order checkmending and currency handling equipment, remittance workstations, scanners, sorters, and teller terminals. Also available are forms and related miscellaneous paper products for banking and business, general supplies (hardware, diskettes, computer accessories, etc.), and BancTec promotional products. Password protection and Verisign technology insure online credit card security, although customers can also choose to pay with a purchase order. "Quality service and convenience are priorities with our customers," said Jim Uren, BancTec's senior VP of North American service and manufacturing. "With SupplyTec, our customers will be able to access our product line quickly and place orders easily."
