Unisys and Bisys ink reseller agreement
In a deal joining two heavyweights in the check imaging and financial services markets, Document Solutions, a Bisys company, will resell Unisys' enterprise servers and document transport products with its Image Solution check imaging software package. Document Solutions' Image Solutions NT-based check processing software captures digital images of the front and back of each check using Unisys' NDP image-enabled document transports. The combination creates a package of check image processing hardware and software bundle for financial institutions big and small. Richard Carbone, VP of Unisys' Business Partner Sales Group, is excited about the significant opportunities for new business that the partnership brings. "Combined with Unisys proven check image processing technology, the Image Solution application will offer our clients an even broader range of easy-to-customize solutions," he said. Document Solutions president Tedd Wilson believes the partnership "will allow us to jointly provide a revolutionary solution to any size financial institution."
