Interleaf releases intranet publishing software

Addressing the problem of providing multiple access to business documents, Interleaf (Waltham, MA) has released a thin-client intranet publishing software solution for searching and accessing document collections from a Web browser. BusinessWeb Plus users can search, navigate and retrieve information from RDM document repositories and WorldView-hyperlinked document collections. It provides source document access to end-users immediately upon the release of the information. Secure repository access and Web data transmission security ensure that users only view and access information they're permitted to see. BusinessWeb Plus avoids the annoying delays and costs associated with HTML conversion, according to Interleaf marketing VP Michael Torto. "This thin-client product enables our customers to easily and rapidly deliver documents throughout the extended enterprise." BusinessWeb Plus runs on SunOS and Solaris, HP-UX and AIX platforms. Pricing starts at $25,000 for a single server with up to 100 users.
