ImageMatrix and RAF Ink Agreement

OCR meets medical claims with a new agreement between ImageMatrix (Denver) and RAF Technologies (Redmond, WA). Per the agreement, Imagematrix will integrate RAF's Cartouche Medical OCR software into its ClaimMatrix and CaptureMatrix forms processing applications. Cartouche Medical, designed for the healthcare organizations, offers templates and medical billing dictionaries for capturing information from HCFA-1500 and UB-92 industry-standard forms. The combined product will offer "improved automated data capture and all of the predefined rules and edits essential to quicker, more efficient, and less costly claims processing," according to Imagematrix president and COO Dennis Hefter.
