NCR Product offers EC to ISPs

A new product that brings EC capabilities to ISPs and online content providers has been unveiled by NCR (Dayton, OH). The SmartEC Decisions package offers hardware, software and services to help Internet businesses and online service providers combine Internet activity data with operational and reference data. The package includes a starter set of OLAP queries for service portfolio, customer and content management; a data warehouse design, OLAP and RDBMS software, data warehouse implementation hardware and support services. The system is designed to help Internet service businesses "develop one-to-one relationships with their customers," said Paul O'Brien, VP of NCR's Industry Business Unit.
