Open Text to Install LiveLink at Provident Financial

Free Market Partners, a national direct marketing venture of Provident Bank (Cincinnati), has bought Open Text's (Waterloo, Ontario) LiveLink Intranet to create a database of the company's corporate knowledge. LiveLink will be used to create an extranet that will promote better communication with vendors and customers concerning contract negotiations, project updates and database management, and to make over 1200 intellectual capital projects accessible online. "As we build enterprise intelligence, Livelink allows us to share knowledge not only with our employees, but with vendors and customers via an extranet," said Jim Christopher, VP of Enablement Systems at Free Market Partners. "It was a solution that solved many problems." Provident Financial Group has 80 financial centers across the U.S. and more than $7 billion in total assets.
