Verity Unveils HTML Conversion Tool

Verity (Sunnyvale, CA) has unveiled KeyView HTML Export, an application that converts documents from Microsoft

Office 97, Lotus SmartSuite 97, and Corel WordPerfect into HTML documents. KeyView HTML Export is designed for document management applications, groupware and E-mail software, and any Web-based applications. The product is being licensed by Odyssey and InfoSquare (Santa Clara, CA), and is included with Xerox's (Rochester, NY) DocuShare document management system. "We found KeyView HTML Export an extremely easy API to interact with," said Tayloe Stansbury, VP of Xerox's Document Management Systems division. KeyView HTML Export is now available on a royalty basis to developers using Windows NT. A version for Sun Solaris, HP UX, IBM AIX, SGI IRIX and DEC Alpha Unix is expected by the end of the month.
