Dataware Acquires Green Book International
Dataware (Cambridge, MA) has acquired Green Book International, the makers of publishing software financial institutions. Green Book will be managed by Dataware's Ledge Multimedia division. Details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Green Book's software, GBook, enables financial institutions to electronically deliver prospectus information in a manner consistent with SEC requirements. Current users include The Travelers and Mass Mutual. Dataware believes the product "will be of great interest to insurers, banks and mutual fund providers," according to Dataware president and CEO Kurt Mueller.
