Tech Data Appoints New CIO
Tech Data (Clearwater, FL) has appointed H. John Lochow as senior VP and CIO. Lochow will be responsible for Tech Data's worldwide IT environment, reporting directly to president and CEO Anthony Ibarguen. Lochow previously served as VP and CIO of Bell Canada, Canada's largest company with 40,000 employees and $10 billion in annual revenue. Lochow also served as CEO of Bell Sygma, a Bell Canada subsidiary, and Bell Sygma International, the company's commercial software development spin-off. "We are delighted to add to our team someone with such an excellent record in IT and executive management," said Ibarguen.
