HP and Red Brick to Unveil Data Warehousing Suite
Hewlett-Packard (Palo Alto, CA) and Red Brick Systems (Los Gatos, CA) have unveiled a suite of data warehousing hardware, software and services. The suite is designed to help retail organizations integrate point-of-sale, finance and merchandising; assess supply-chain productivity and performance; and enhance forecasting and operational capabilities. HP and Red Brick have also announced their intent to bring retailers into a performance benchmark center, to run and test existing decision support applications on the newest versions of HP and Red Brick products. Red Brick's Data Mine software will also be included in HP's data mining center in Rockville, MD. The integrated suite is now available through HP direct sales and reseller channels worldwide.
