Network Imaging Signs Deal with the DoD

The Department of Defense has chosen Network Imaging (Herndon, VA) to provide storage and workflow solutions. Under terms of the three year, $1.8 million contract, Network Imaging will supply its 1View: Object Manager and 1View: Workflow products to help the DoD store and manage text, images, video and audio multimedia data types. The win is particularly gratifying, according to Network Imaging president and CEO Jim Leto, because it is "an especially difficult market to reach because of its precise requirements and stringent evaluation process. It also is characterized by traditionally longer sales cycles than those of commercial accounts," he said.
