Maxoptix Forms New Board of Directors

Following a November management buyout, Maxoptix (Fremont, CA) has formed a new board of directors. Gary Potts, CEO and chairman of the new board, anticipates that the company will succeed "with the right combination of vision and direction." Joining Potts are

S3 (Santa Clara, CA) vice chairman Terry Holdt; David Holman, president of a Texas-based real estate and financial services company; investment banker Stephen Drgastin; Michael Takagawa, a management consultant and former Maxoptix executive coach; and corporate secretary and legal counsel Michael Hall. "We can anticipate that Maxoptix will continue to succeed," said Potts.
