Oracle and Unisys Team Up For NT Users

Oracle (Redwood Shores, CA) and Unisys

(Blue Bell, PA) have announced a joint effort to deliver mission-critical Windows NT solutions to their customers. The plans call for integrating Oracle's Parallel Server, Data Mart Suite and Network Computing Architecture with Unisys' hardware and software products. The agreement creates "an unbeatable solution ideally suited to provide enterprise-class solutions for Windows NT," said George Gazerwitz, president of Unisys Computer Systems Group. "The Oracle-Unisys offering delivers some of the most scalable, reliable and secure enterprise management software available on Windows NT to mid-sized corporations," added Oracle senior VP Gary Bloom.
