Intranet-in-a-box offered by IntraNetics

A comprehensive intranet solution has been introduced by IntraNetics (Woburn, MA,

http://www.intranetics.com). The IntraNetics 97 solution includes 17 business applications designed to deploy an intranet within small- to medium-sized businesses. The solution runs with both Netscape and Microsoft, with future versions to be developed for the Microsoft Small Business server. "We see the small business intranet software market to be an approximately $1 billion opportunity," says IntraNetics CEO Steve Crummey. The product has undergone successful beta testing at Siemens Business Communication Systems, Wohl Associates and Calvin Klein. "We are very impressed with IntraNetics' intelligent design, extensibility, simple and easy to use interface and breadth of application possibilities," says Mark Connoly, director of Siemens' Network Integration Services unit. Starting price for IntraNetics 97 is $4,995; Microsoft and Netscape versions are available for $7,495.
