LanVision launches Web-based division

LanVision (Cincinnati) has launched a Web-based division offering information access for healthcare providers. One of the first Web-based services of its kind, the Virtual Healthware Services

(VHS) division will offer transaction-based document imaging, workflow and information management services to healthcare providers. Already taking advantage of the new service is the Detroit Medical Center (DMC), which will save an estimated $1.5 million annually, according to DMC CFO Guy LaPrad.
