New scanner control software from Vidar

) has unveiled TruInfo Version 1.1 scanner control software, targeted for the A/E/C industry. The software will be bundled with Vidar's grayscale and black-and-white large format scanners. Designed for digital archiving as well as indexing and organizing scanned documents, TruInfo "delivers the flexibility and scanning control needed in the A/E/C market," according to Tom Gdowik, director of Vidar's Engineering Business Line. TruInfo 1.1 "has streamlined our document tracking procedures," adds Art McKinney of the American Engineers Council of Virginia.
