Danka and Emerge team for PDF document management

Danka (St. Petersburg, FL, http://www.dankadoi.com) and Emerge (Madison, WI, http://www.emrg.com) have entered into an agreement to collectively design and support document management systems based on Adobe's (San Jose, CA, http://www.adobe.com) PDF technology. Under the agreement, Danka will supply Kodak (Rochester, NY, http://www.kodak.com) document imaging products, printers and system support; Emerge will provide Acrobat and Acrobat Capture software, third party application programs, customer training and outsourcing services. "It's a great marriage," said Danka marketing manager Ray DiCenzo, adding that Danka plans a "'360 degree' implementation of PDF technology to our customers across the entire document management chain."
