Cognitive computing comes to the Google Search Appliance

Multilingual cognitive computing technology provider for unstructured information Expert System has integrated its Cogito solution into the Google Search Appliance (GSA). As such, it has joined the Google for Work Search Technology Premier Partner program, which is said to be reserved for companies that have demonstrated the highest level of competency and performance-based implementation success.

The companies report that by integrating Cogito for cognitive computing and unstructured information access, Expert System enhances GSA capabilities: semantic tagging and enrichment, taxonomy and ontology management, and improved search functionalities based on a deep understanding of business documents. They add that ensuring data and documents are findable across different repositories is one of the biggest challenges for enterprise teams today. Expert System's Cogito enhances GSA with semantic tagging and enrichment, streamlines the process of building taxonomies and ontologies, and enables faceted search.
