Optika and Siemens Energy & Automation ally to eliminate data entry

Eliminating manual data entry is the goal of an alliance between Optika Imaging Systems (Colorado Springs, CO,

http://www.optika.com) and the industrial systems and service division of Siemens Energy & Automation (Alpharetta, GA). The applications integrator will develop and SAP certify FilePower for R/3, an integration of Optika's FilePower with the SAP R/3 system through SAP's ArchiveLink product. The FilePower suite of products includes imaging, workflow and COLD applications. The combined product will add to SAP R/3's client-server business applications for automation by providing scanning and viewing of document images and reports.
