, Nasdaq: AAPL) reports Q2 '97 revenue of $1.6 billion which compares with $2.2 billion in Q2 '96. A total loss of $708 million compares with a net loss of $740 million in Q2 '96. Results are attributable to recorded charges of $375 million for the acquisition of NeXT Software and $155 million to cover the costs of restructuring activities.
