Altris reports revenue

Altris Software (San Diego, Nasdaq: ALTS, http://www.altris.com

) reports Q1 '97 revenue of $6.6 million, which compares with $6.1 million in Q1 '96. Net income of $534,000 compares with $677,000 for the same period last year. Software revenues comprised 61% of the total sales for the quarter. Jay Tanna, Altris CEO, comments: "This progressive shift away from hardware and into the software market will continue full-speed during 1997."
