ADP puts tax records on CDs

Some New Jersey tax records will be on CD. In order to make year-end employee payroll and tax records available, ADP (Roseland, NJ,

http://www.adp.com) has installed Kodak's (Rochester, NY, http://www.kodak.com) writable CD COLD software system. As part of ADP's DocuMax application, the automated process will produce payroll reports, W-2s and related tax records in lieu of hard-copy documents.

Initially tested at ADP's main processing center, the Kodak CD Cold system has been installed in seven regional processing centers so far. For year-end 1996, ADP issued more than 20,000 CDs to its payroll clients.
