Element K has introduced KnowledgeHub Web Services, which it describes as an open, scalable and secure solution for the integration of e-learning services with enterprise business applications. The offering enables clients to provide e-learning services as part of their larger company business environment and leverage existing enterprise applications and technology investments, the company says.
Through KnowledgeHub, Element K's hosted e-learning solution can be easily and quickly integrated with both Web applications and core behind-the-firewall business functions such as ERP, learning management and HR systems. Further, say Element K, the offering enables clients to automate administrative activities, such as student management and content assignment, and provides services for remote authentication and other integration points.
