Upland Software Achieves Certification with Kodak Alaris Scanners

Upland Software, a provider of cloud-based enterprise work management software, is partnering with Kodak Alaris, a provider of document scanners and capture software solutions, to help customers improve workflow and content capture from digital and paper sources.

Upland Software's workflow automation and document management application, FileBound, automates the flow of work, and helps businesses manage processes and connect people with information to decrease costs.

The companies say the collaborative effort between Upland and Kodak Alaris will help customers and the reseller community to turn paper documents into digital files that can be used for complex workflows across areas such as enterprise content management; accounts payable and receivable automation; human resource and healthcare records automation; contract process and education workflow automation; and government document management.

The FileBound application has achieved certification with Kodak Alaris scanners, which the companies say is a critical step in FileBound and Kodak Alaris' ongoing partnership to help customers improve their business efficiencies. Four Kodak Alaris scanners were tested and validated in Upland's technical lab, including the Kodak i1190 Scanner; and the Kodak i2420, i2620 and i2820 Scanners.

Kodak Alaris' expertise in capturing documents, combined with Upland's automation tools, will enable customers to improve their capture, process, and management of business information, according to Susheel John, global category director, Information Management, Kodak Alaris. And, by taking advantage of Kodak Alaris’ cloud capabilities, he added, users can automate business processes closer to the point of document capture, thereby reducing process time, and improving response to customers.
