Unified, predictive decisioning

Pegasystems has announced the latest version of Pega BPM, which is said to give business users a unified environment of BPM and business rules with advanced analytics to predict and act on customer needs. Further, the company says, Pega BPM applications dynamically adapt to customer-facing business processes to optimize business outcomes.

The predictive and adaptive decisioning components enable organizations to optimize customer-facing processes to provide a better overall customer experience. Advanced features empower more intelligent recommendations for the next best action to maximize retention, cross-sell or up-sell opportunities.

The company reports enhancements in the new version include:

  • unified predictive and adaptive decisioning--uses advanced business analytics with real-time adaptive self-tuning to help guide intelligent conversations with customers for retention, cross-sell/up-sell and risk management;
  • thin-client modeling options--provide business users the tools they need to build complete process models on the Web, along with enhanced tools to handle advanced UI, integration and business events to provide much faster time-to-market with reduced training; and
  • business event-driven interactions--enable business users to define and trigger time or pattern-driven changes to forms, reports or cases.
