The juice behind V 8

Enigma has released Version 8 of its 3C platform, which is built on an open, Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) n-tier-based architecture.

Enigma says Version 8 has been designed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), operators and service providers of complex capital equipment. It adds that Version 8 integrates the service and support organizations with all other departments in a company in order to allow the mechanics, technicians and engineers who repair the equipment become to more efficient.

The companys says the new software enables the creation of an accurate, up-to-date encyclopedia of product information that both the OEM and the user can dynamically update. Further, says Enigma, the user can incorporate best practices within the product information and share them with other mechanics and the OEM. Version 8 also allows the OEM to dynamically update the previously deployed product information with maintenance revisions and service bulletins and to reach out and receive feedback from their customers.
