Search and visualization for pharma, chem industries

Cambridge Semantics and ChemAxon have formed a strategic alliance to deliver search and visualization capabilities for the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

ChemAxon reports its products and services are designed to add value and functionality to chemistry information and provide chemistry information software platforms, applications and services to optimize the value of “cheminformatics” in life sciences. Cambridge Semantics’ Anzo software, which is based on semantic technology, tackles a variety of enterprise data management and user data consumption challenges in the pharma, financial and life science industries.

The companies say the integration gives Anzo customers the ability to perform chemical structure searches over their existing databases that contain chemical data by directly drawing substructures as well as the ability to visualize chemical structures within their Anzo Web dashboards. ChemAxon customers will be able to integrate other sources of data with their chemical structure data while also being able to quickly establish searchable knowledgebases and dashboards of chemical data combined with any other related data with Anzo’s tools.
