Scalable, social WCM
CoreMedia has launched its new Web content management offering, CoreMedia Elastic Social, which has been designed with advanced social capabilities and a highly scalable architecture based on NoSQL and cloud technology. CoreMedia says the design enables enterprises to support swelling numbers of user conversations and contributions in parallel without compromising site performance or requiring additional infrastructure investments.
CoreMedia reports Elastic Social has been preconfigured for speed and simplicity, enabling even less experienced developers to add out-of-the-box social media functionality to CoreMedia Web properties. The company believes that by creating a space for communities to interact and grow on their Web properties, social data can be easily collected and leveraged to create more personalized Web experiences, enabling companies to build brand loyalty, turn customers into advocates, gain user feedback and quickly address customer concerns.
Elastic Social features a single Web-based editorial interface for business users, content editors and moderators and a comprehensive suite of standard social media use cases for immediate deployment, including ratings, “likes,” user commenting, threaded discussions, user profiles and comment moderation. CoreMedia Elastic Social also includes dynamic rules and widgets for aggregating and publishing user-rated content based on category and timeframe.
CoreMedia Elastic Social is now available for use with the company’s WCM platform, CoreMedia 6. Elastic Social can be deployed on premise, in the cloud or via a hybrid model to accommodate any security or traffic management requirements.
