Rise of the Super Silo

Keeeb CTO Sid Probstein discussed the recent emergence of the super silo in enterprise-level knowledge during his presentation at KMWorld Connect 2020.

"So let's talk for a minute about the super silo, which is a really new thing. It's really a part of the side effect of the cloud, which favors consolidation and winner take all or at least winner take most," he said. 

Super silos can be used to store different kinds of files, logs, customers and sales, he explained.

"User created files spread around a global company on notebook computers and on file systems and servers and backups, we can put all of that in one drive," Probstein said.

There are also many different styles and platforms to choose from including solutions from companies like Salesforce, Slack, Northern Lights, Microsoft 365, One Drive, and more.
