Records management for healthcare

Autonomy has inked an OEM agreement with Kainos to integrate Autonomy Records Management (ARM) and Autonomy Business Process Management into Evolve, Kainos’ electronic document management solution for the healthcare sector. As part of the agreement, Autonomy Auminence, its meaning-based healthcare analysis solution, will also be trialed at the Evolve beacon site, The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust.

Auminence is described as a tool that leverages Autonomy’s meaning-based technology to improve the quality of patient care and lower medical costs. It does this, the company says, by automatically understanding the meaning of the vast volumes of human-friendly information about patients, medical conditions and other healthcare data, analyzing it and providing recommended diagnoses and treatment plans for individual patients in real time.
