Portal Solutions debuts Office 365 social intranet

Portal Solutions has introduced OneWindow Workplace, an intranet-as-a-service solution that integrates the components of the Office 365 platform into a single digital window and can be deployed in 80% less time than custom solutions, according to Portal solutions.

OneWindow Workplace incorporates all of the modern productivity tools for communication and collaboration. Portal Solutions reports users can access all components of Office 365 (SharePoint Online, Yammer, Skype for Business, OneDrive for Business, Office Groups, Videos and Office Graph) in an easy-to-navigate, single digital window.

The company says the implementation time for the OneWindow Workplace intranet is six to seven times faster than a custom SharePoint solution, with deployment in 30 to 60 days. The price point is said to be 80% less than that of a custom SharePoint solution. The subscription fee ranges from $5 to $12 per user per month, depending on size of the organization. There is a startup fee which includes applying corporate branding, metadata and configuration of the solution to push out only features that users want to see.
