Partnering for legal assistance

Themis Solutions has partnered with Legal Typist, a virtual assistant service to the legal profession. LegalTypist has added Clio, Themis’ cloud-based practice management solution as a recommended technology for secure collaboration between attorneys and their clients, staff and assistants. The companies say that combined, Clio and LegalTypist provide attorneys with the technology to get and keep their practice information securely accessible and an assistant to ensure proper workflow.

Themis describes Clio as a comprehensive cloud-based practice management SaaS product that is specifically designed for solo practitioners and small law firms using PCs and Macs. It can be accessed from any Internet-enabled computer or mobile device. Clio provides case/matter management, time tracking, billing/reporting, client contact and document management, task scheduling, trust accounting and performance metrics for independent lawyers to benchmark their business goals. The software also includes ClioConnect, a secure portal for document sharing and collaboration with clients, and Clio Express, an offline time capture application.
