Partnering for compliance

Hyland Software, developer of OnBase enterprise content management (ECM) software, has added support for storage management provider KOM Networks' e-WORM technology.

The companies say the combined solution will allow organizations to securely retain files on high performance resources, enabling compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance guidelines while restricting access to the archive repository to any unauthorized third party.

KOM explains that its e-WORM solution can transform standard disk-based hardware into non-rewritable, non-erasable WORM storage media that satisfy both best practices and stringent regulations in achieving compliance.
