Online marketing engagement optimization

FatWire has released a new version of its Web content management (WCM) platform. Content Server 7.6 is said to provide new tools to speed and streamline the process of what FatWire calls Online Engagement Optimization, that is, building and maintaining websites that will help enterprises use the online channel to engage customers and prospects and deliver on their marketing and customer experience goals.

The company says Version 7.6 enables centralized, streamlined management of multiple web sites in different language/locale versions; delivery of targeted content and campaigns to site visitors, social computing, scalable content delivery across traditional and mobile websites; and more.

Functionality new in FatWire Content Server 7.6 includes:

  • Eclipse IDE integration enables developers to build FatWire templates and sites within Eclipse for easy and seamless development.
  • Asset Processing API makes it easy to automate how business users work with content, ensuring that the Web content authoring process is streamlined and efficient.
  • A set of tools provides easy analysis of system information and logs, performance and cache optimization and more.
