M-Files Opens Office in Germany to Meet Growing Demand for Information Management Solutions

Increasing its investment in the German market to better support its channel partners and expand its direct sales teams in the region, M-Files, a provider of solutions for enterprise management of documents and other information, is opening a new office in Ratingen, Germany.

According to M-Files, German companies have been early adopters of enterprise content management (ECM) systems, but many of them have not experienced an optimal ROI because traditional ECM systems are complex and force users to change the way they work, and as a result, they suffer from low user adoption rates.

M-Files has seen strong demand for its ECM solutions from German organizations looking for more flexible approach to address their information management requirements, said Jan Thijs van Wijngaarden, regional channel manager at M-Files, noting that the metadata-powered M-Files solution provides advantages over traditional folder-based ECM systems.
