LexisNexis acquires Interface Software

LexisNexis has purchased Interface Software in a move to enhance and develop products for legal and professional services firms in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia.

Interface Software’s client relationship management solutions allow professional services firms and similar organizations to create information they need to generate new business and enhance client service, the company says. Its flagship product, InterAction, is a platform that delivers this “relationship intelligence” throughout the organization and reveals unique and complex connections between people, companies, relationships, experience and expertise.

Internet-enabled, InterAction is said to empower professionals to leverage who and what they know to uncover new revenue opportunities, differentiate themselves from the competition and enhance client service. The software is allowing professionals to view information through such things as knowledge management platforms, corporate portals, intranets, extranets and wireless devices.
