Kyndryl allies with Citrix to improve hybrid workforce productivity; initiative with SIA emboldens digital workplace services
Kyndryl, an IT infrastructure services provider, is announcing two major achievements as a Digital Workspace enterprise: a global alliance with Citrix, pioneers in remote access, data security, and availability, to empower workplace cohesivity and collaboration for greater productivity in hybrid workforces; as well as a multi-year initiative with Singapore Airlines (SIA) for enhanced workplace and digital transformation services.
By leveraging Citrix DaaS—a desktop as a service for highly performance digital workspaces—and Kyndryl’s digital workplace services, the enterprises will continue to develop end-to-end IT management services and virtual desktop solutions, both in hybrid and multi-cloud environments, according to the vendor. The alliance will extend Kyndryl’s modernization services with the capabilities of Citrix, simultaneously improving the end-user experience; VDI/DaaS/Virtual App transformation services, secure remote access services, and cloud migration services with Citrix Cloud are all included within the Kyndryl-Citrix collaboration.
“Kyndryl and Citrix have worked side-by-side as long standing partners for nearly two decades, and we’re thrilled to continue growing our relationship and customer offerings with Citrix,” said Ivan Dopplé, general manager at Kyndryl digital workplace services global practice. “Both companies have always remained hyper-focused on helping our global customers navigate the complexities of the modern-day workplace and embracing agility as the business landscape continues to shift at unprecedented speed.”
Having been partnered for approximately two decades, Kyndryl has continuously delivered infrastructure services, end-user services, and hybrid cloud infrastructure services to support SIA employees and their modernized digital workplaces.
“As one of the world’s leading airlines, Singapore Airlines has been synonymous with premium travel experiences, driven by its focus on innovation. Kyndryl is proud to be the company’s partner-of-choice as it continues to accelerate its digital transformation journey with our best-in-class Digital Workplace portfolio,” said Gina Wong, managing director at Kyndryl Singapore. “We are confident that our deep understanding of Singapore Airlines’ business requirements will continue to transform end user experiences and translate them into improved business outcomes.”
Among these solutions and services, Kyndryl offers “virtual desktops” and “virtual applications” to users based on their work profiles, unified endpoint and remote management capabilities, hyperconverged solutions, and various other services that improve user productivity and experience. Kyndryl’s comprehensive digital workplace services ushers in lower IT support costs, end-to-end device lifecycle management, as well as modernization and scalability when necessary; all with user productivity, security, and flexibility in mind.
