Jurisdictionally aware governance
RSD reports a new version of its information governance platform, which enables organizations to manage and control content across repositories and jurisdictions wherever it resides. RSD explains GLASS 3 lets companies create jurisdictionally aware corporate policies that can then be enforced across organizational boundaries, IT systems, content repositories and paper archives.
New features and enhancements include:
Governance of content in shared drives. Full integration with Nuix enables organizations to proactively control the content within shared drives by discovering and managing information assets under the same policies that govern all content within the organization.
Updated and new governance connectors. RSD GLASS includes more than 40 connectors that provide in-place governance functionality (as opposed to access only) covering major content repositories, including Microsoft SharePoint, EMC Documentum, IBM FileNet, Hitachi HCP, Alfresco, OpenText LiveLink, Oracle Stellent, Box.com and many others. An open software development kit (SDK) allows organizations to build their own connectors using RSD’s open SDK.
Usability enhancements. RSD GLASS 3 boasts improved performance, updated executive dashboards and new capabilities, such as favorites, sorting, error messages and filtering.
