Hippo and Nuxeo partner

Hippo and Nuxeo have built an ECM/WCM connector based on the OASIS CMIS (Content Management Interoperability Services) standard. The companies claim the connector benefits from a high degree of flexibility and ensures that content coming from any source within the organization can be easily integrated into both platforms.

The connector allows for content from a Nuxeo-based ECM application to be accessible through a Hippo CMS-powered site and allows internal business content to be communicated via any Web-based content platform without taking it out of its managed life cycle. According to the company, the approach eliminates the need to duplicate the information and also maintains the content history, validation workflow, versioning and associated metadata.
