Help for AEC
Spicer has unveiled Imagenation 8 Service Pack 1 (Svp1), which features new AutoCAD DWG 2007 support. Imagenation software is designed for the architecture/engineering/construction (AEC) sector, as well as for reprographers and printers, to access, scan, review, markup, print and archive hundreds of document types generated by a building project, including technical drawings and models, legal contracts, purchase orders, RFIs, schedules, etc.
Spicer reports the benefits of Imagenation 8 Svp1 include:
- reduced costs and cycle time with universal viewing, markup and printing of hundreds of file types from TIFF, PDF, MicroStation DGN, to AutoCAD 2007;
- improved process efficiencies by streamlining complex document workflows and collaboration between multiple teams;
- clearer communication and error reduction by managing project life cycle information from the desktop; and
- intellectual property protection.
