Exploring 3-D collaboration

Altadyn, which developed the first browser-based, “plug-in-less” 3-D platform for synchronous collaboration, has released a new product line, 3DXplorer Enterprise Edition, with immediate availability. All 3DXplorer SaaS-based products are now also available for installation on corporate servers behind the firewall.

Tiered product levels allow for efficient customer adoption and implementation. Customers can start with immediately available SaaS plans and progress smoothly from testing a proof-of concept to integrating a mature solution by leveraging the dual SaaS/Enterprise model.

The Enterprise Edition server software is said to be easy to install, requires minimal bandwidth to deliver and only a low-end grade computer for users to access. No software or plug-ins need to be installed.
