Docuvela, founded by information management experts Ellen Ryan and George Steimer, is debuting Veladocs, a cloud-native document management solution built to harness the expansive power of Amazon Web Services (AWS)—innovating traditional document management via a “Lightweight by Design, Heavyweight in Performance” vision.

Veladocs is now available for select customers. It offers a user-friendly, scalable, and cost-effective alternative to traditional document management systems, according to the company.

The solution introduces advanced natural language searching to deliver essential document management tools elevated by AWS's scalability and security.

Veladocs also places content transparency and control firmly in the hands of organizations, simplifying integrations with line of business applications, AI tools, and other modern technologies.

By stripping away the unnecessary and focusing on what truly matters, Veladocs offers a streamlined, cloud-powered platform that scales with user needs, according to the company.

“With Veladocs, we’re not just launching a product; we’re introducing a new way of thinking about document management,” explained Ryan. “Businesses need to be as agile and dynamic as possible, so they need software that reflects this. By delivering this, Veladocs marks a significant departure from the slow, expensive, and overly complex solutions that have previously dominated the market.”

At launch, Veladocs will address three core use cases:

  • Embracing Cloud Power with Simplified ECM - for organizations seeking the scalability and flexibility of the cloud, paired with the streamlined efficiency of modern ECM functionalities, without the burden of traditional ECM systems.
  • Complementing Legacy ECM for Simple Content Management - for organizations currently using comprehensive ECM solutions but looking for a more streamlined approach to managing less complex content.
  • Creating View-Only Access Portals from Legacy ECM - for enterprises needing to publish read-only content from their ECM to broader audiences, including non-technical users, without granting full ECM access.

Docuvela will host a launch webinar on May 2nd to showcase Veladocs and demonstrate its capabilities. To view the Veladocs Launch Webinar, register here: https://launch.veladocs.com.
