DocuWare acquires Westbrook Technologies

DocuWare has purchased Westbrook Technologies, a provider of document and enterprise content management solutions with a large customer and partner base in North America.

DocuWare says the acquisition is another move in its strategy to substantiate its position as a leading, global ECM vendor for small and midsize companies. Both DocuWare and Westbrook initially built their reputations as early pioneers in the market for document imaging and document management. The combination of both companies adds more than 1,500 Westbrook customers to an already sizable base of over 10,000 DocuWare customers. It also expands DocuWare’s 500-plus network of authorized DocuWare partners with more that 40 experienced Westbrook resellers.

Westbrook Technologies will operate as a subsidiary of DocuWare.
