Creating memorable digital experiences for customers
Digital experience platforms (DXPs) are coming to the forefront as a new way to approach building customer experiences. Businesses that are looking to build great digital experiences need the fundamental DXP capabilities to be successful.
KMWorld recently held a webinar with Maggie Schroeder, product marketing manager, Acquia, and Aaron Pacheco, senior product manager, Acquia, who discussed the functional features and capabilities required to build great digital experiences (content management, accessibility, and more).
When designing for success, it is important to understand company and customer requirements, Schroeder and Pacheco explained.
DXPs should be built with maximum velocity that leverage development environments, design with continuous integrations in mind, and research best practices with experts.
After launching a new DXP, companies need to continue building and testing, monitor growth and performance over time, invest in risk mitigations, sustain the value of investments, and continue to seek out new optimizations.
The web is constantly changing and businesses need to stay on top of trends to evolve with the advancements, Schroeder and Pacheco said.
According to Schroeder and Pacheco, 81% of marketers say they expect to be competing mostly or completely on the basis of CX.
However, existing silos create disjointed experiences and the scale makes it worse with multiple platforms, brands, countries, channels, campaigns, and teams.
Schroeder and Pacheco suggested the Acquia platform as a tool that can help companies build their DXP capabilities.
The platform offers a 360-degree view of the customer, improved governance, has a faster time to market, automated decision making, is fully integrated, provides a consistent user experience, contains useful analytics, and offers reusable content.
