Northplains has announced its new FLOW module, a robust workflow engine for its new cloud-based NorthplainsNEXT platform for content lifecycle management. The new module gives creative teams and marketers project management and workflow capabilities for managing digital assets addressing the needs of any size organization or group, from small creative teams to global marketing organizations.

NorthplainsNEXT is a cloud-based CLM platform that aims to go beyond traditional DAM solutions, serving as an enterprise-wide hub for digital asset creation, workflow design, collaboration, approvals, storage, distribution, compliance, security and measurement.

The latest FLOW module removes roadblocks with customized workflows to keep the process efficient for everyone involved, and helping teams quickly develop and properly implement their digital assets and meet business goals, Hassan Kotob, CEO of Northplains. Providing an intuitive navigation of approved and in-progress assets and keyword searches for any file type, as well as integrated best practices, organization-specific file nomenclature and cultural processes,  the FLOW module helps streamline workflow, version control, and approval activities.

The NorthplainsNEXT FLOW module offers customizable and out-the-box workflows that help coordinate people, tasks, and approvals - without wasted time or resources; supports collaboration by allowing users to create and manage creative briefs and campaign requirements, comments and feedback directly within the digital asset management system; and offers dashboard views to identify roadblocks and flag opportunities for process improvements.
