Cabinet Unveils New Document Management Tool
Cabinet Document Management Solutions (Cabinet), a provider of electronic document management software and workflow solutions, has introduced a new document management tool called Web Filer.
Web Filer, an integration with Cabinet's enterprise document management software, SAFE, is targeted at companies with multiple locations or remote offices and the need to support employees who occasionally file documents into SAFE, but don't need to access to the system otherwise, such as employees who travel for work and need to submit receipts for reimbursement, but may not need regular access to the company's SAFE.
Web Filer enables these employees to have their documents uploaded securely without having to actually access SAFE, said Abe Niedzwiecki, president, Cabinet, noting that Web Filer's easy-to-access platform and customizable upload boxes make filing documents easy.
Cabinet will work with Web Filer users to create custom upload boxes with multiple, pre-filled fields to send documents to the correct locations in SAFE. Web Filer requires an active SAFE license at the home office and integrates with Cabinet's on-premise and cloud-software.
