Building litigation muscle

LexisNexis has acquired Dataflight Software and CaseSoft Ltd., providers of evidence management and case analysis litigation services, respectively.

The addition of CaseSoft means that LexisNexis now offers CaseMap, case assessment services that enable litigators to quickly and easily capture, organize and analyze case facts, case law, documents, people and other factors to evaluate case risk and to make informed decisions on critical topics such as settlement, discovery and trial. CaseSoft's TextMap transcript summary tool enables litigators to find and create a searchable database of electronic transcript files, such as depositions, examinations and other proceedings, as well as create reports for transcript management.

Concordance, Dataflight's evidence management software, includes collaborative features that allow users to search millions of documents in seconds, manage transcripts, add issue codes and notes, link trial exhibits, create reports and digests, redact scanned documents, track production, manage users and access data remotely.
